April 30, 2007 on 11:54 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments OffOne of the great things about living here is that I can jump on my bike at a moment’s notice and ride to the mountains and instantly de-stress. Take yesterday for example, I was writing and article on 301 for an obscure publication and I was having terrible writers block. So I jumped on the bike 10 minutes later I was riding up a goat track, surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery you can imagine. Within 5 minutes the words came flowing back to me…mission accomplished.

And this is not about that alabama golf vacations thing that has got me frustrated. But I was facing some serious adversity on this one project and I just could not get it done the way I wanted to. Well, I was at the breaking point and I pushed beyond into complete and utter frustration and somehow broke through the other side. Very few times has this happened in my life. In fact, now that I look back up on my early days and may have stopped short of success on a number of things and just gave up without trying to break through. Hmmmmmm, maybe that is a serious lesson for the cranium. Later
