Apparently, they are now filing civil lawsuits against alleged spammers and then handing over the evidence to prosecutors for a criminal case using the federal statute of the CAN-SPAM law to get some of these guys. And it seems they are being quite successful with civil judgments in the tens of millions of dollars. Man, those guys better watch out what they send to others email boxes cuz they have no clue what could happen to them. Well, better get back to my project on golf vacations in saint augustine fl.

June 30, 2006 on 9:55 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments OffToday I spent the whole day with a paper shredder… I started my spring cleaning by grabbing all of the boxes of old paperwork that should have been filed years ago, but never made it to the cabinet. I never knew how much I had saved… I found old bills, very old love letters, as well as promises I had made to myself and then forgotten. Gosh, where has the time gone! It’s so liberating to take all of this stuff and send it to the wonderful paper shredder… POOF, and it’s gone forever… Nothing to be remembered, nothing to be gained except for freedom!!! And now, I even have the freedom to search for automobile gps navigation system – and when I print out the pages that I find, I will have a place to store it – and then I will start another lovely pile that will free me once again ten years from now in the same manner that it did today!
