July 31, 2007 on 12:09 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments OffAlright. I am now taking a break from over searching for resources on 301 and now time to get onto my next gripe of the day. Mont blancs. What IS in a pen and a name? If the darn thing writes, what really matters is the words that flow from the persons brain and through the hand to write the words. I am personally not into the captivation of designer names, so I guess the status symbol of a fine writing instrument does not really matter to me. But rather, it is the most important substance of the thoughts from which I explain myself that truly matter the most. I look at some people and their writing abilities, like my roommates, and I wonder if pricey writing instruments really improve the actual skills of these people or just bolster their egos and confidence.

July 31, 2007 on 10:38 am | In Uncategorized | Comments OffI just got back from an incredible trip. There were 16 of us on a bus to Las Vegas for the weekend. Of course the cooler was filled with refreshments and about 2 hours on the road, we all started singing and having a great time. Later the conversation turned to various subjects. One of particular note was about grace home school association. If I had my notebook with me I could have written a book while listening to the comments. Then when in Las Vegas, we all lost money. We returned home on a silent bus!

I’m not bragging but it seems rather simple to find just about any information on any subject using the net. My wife was trying to find information last week on 301 and wasn’t having any luck. She would search with too specific search terms instead of keep the first search on 301 very broad and then narrowing it down after you see the results.
