A pet peeve is a subject about 301 that most people find mildly annoying at most, but in extreme terms makes it near impossible for us to experience or tolerate. So, on a scale of 1 to 100, if most people are bothered by a certain behavior about 301 (interrupting you while you are talking, farting, nose picking, burping, etc) to about a 20 or 30, but it ticks you off to about an 80 or 90, then this is a pet peeve for you!
