Talk about bad weather. We’ve probably had the worst rainy season we’ve had in decades and just about everywhere is getting flooded out with no end in sight. Everyday so far this month we’ve had flash flood warnings or on flash flood watch. The other week we even had a dam break on one of the remote locations. On the news the other night they were talking about which kind of broke the monotony of the storms but still, the major story of the day was the rain.

I’d rather be golfing but here goes …

There is something to be said about traveling. Although it is really nice to go away and see other places and do different things you would not normally do at your home place, it is also so great to be back home and sleep in ones own bed. Yes, that bed, that familiar smell, the familiar feel that is nothing like the hotel, the camper, or whatever people sleep in when they go on vacation. And another thing, vacation is just tired, especially when there are extra individuals to lug along. But let me tell you, when you get back, boy, what a relief. Hit that pillow and it is the best dreamland possible. And then, the next thing to get accustomed to when getting back from vacation is the computer and doing a real search for odd things like honey baked ham san jose california and stuff like that. I mean, even if it is doing a random search, there is NOTHING better than being back home after a vacation and being away from the familiarity of home. Dont you think so, too?

Looks like we are finally starting to get a break in the weather. It has been really nasty lately. I enjoy getting outside and walking around for an hour or so every day. When the weather is not cooperating I tend to skip the walk. Not good for the body and mind. I tend to clear my mind and put my troubles behind me when I am outside. This is not the case when I am sitting at the computer trying to be productive. All kinds of stuff float through my head periodically. This morning I was trying to do some research on one of my sites and I accidentally did a search on resort golf vacations. I had no clue why I searched on that topic. But it definitely was out in left field. Guess I got to pay more attention where my fingers are walking.
