I ran into a very old work friend of mine during the week. He had been through some tough times recently and basically took a few years off work and pretty much everything else for that matter. He was a very highly paid IT Consultant prior, and revealed that he has been living on government benefits for the last few years. While his situation seemed sad to me, it was also very clear that he looked relaxed and not stressed like most of the people in todays world.
