November 30, 2008 on 6:32 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments OffThere are some motivational speakers that say you can push beyond the tiredness, stress and fatigue into the second wind and get more strength and energy to keep on going. But then I begin to think how good that is for the body. Of course, there is no doubt I want to be able to squeeze as many hours I can out of the day so I can continue my work in my career and do as many searches on the internet, especially my most recent fascination with 404, but certainly not to overdo my body’s capacity and over exert myself. I am certain that the conventional medical world would frown upon this, but I wonder if there is even some sort of study or body of research on this type of behavior of people that strive to gain their second wind.

Well, that is what happened to me when I was searching for 404 sites today. No sites. Could not find anything. It was like a desert out there. Not even cactus around to find. Then, all of a sudden, I must have entered the exact keywords in combination and like dumb luck, POP up it came right in front of my own eyes. Love it when that happens.

November 29, 2008 on 1:51 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments OffThere I was, just getting into the swing of things again, when I got that dreaded phone call from my Boss. Another Sunday ruined! Now I have to pack up quickly and head off to work up North again. I was finally set to do some research on 404 when I got the word. Why does that always happen - just settle down on the computer and get set for some serious work, and ‘The Call’ comes! Oh well, I guess someone’s gotta pay the bills around here!

November 29, 2008 on 10:32 am | In Uncategorized | Comments OffWow, with all my ongoing research concerning lasik eye surgery, I really either need to cut my calories back or burn more calories. Last I understand, there still is no way to burn more calories while sitting in my chair, so I guess I will have to try and tear myself away and get up and active. Because I tell you, the real estate on my chair is spreading out further and wider than I ever wanted, hoped or wished for. IN fact, there is some serious need for tightening and restructuring about to take place.

November 28, 2008 on 7:11 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments OffI just got back from an incredible trip. There were 16 of us on a bus to Las Vegas for the weekend. Of course the cooler was filled with refreshments and about 2 hours on the road, we all started singing and having a great time. Later the conversation turned to various subjects. One of particular note was about 404 . If I had my notebook with me I could have written a book while listening to the comments. Then when in Las Vegas, we all lost money. We returned home on a silent bus!

I’m not bragging but it seems rather simple to find just about any information on any subject using the net. My wife was trying to find information last week on 404 and wasn’t having any luck. She would search with too specific search terms instead of keep the first search on 404 very broad and then narrowing it down after you see the results.

I did find some interesting websites though, as I was browsing the net. I especially liked this one here - 404 . It never fails to amaze me that with the huge amount of data on the internet it is still easy to find pearls of wisdom. Anyway, I am expecting to be more productive this week. I’ll keep in touch and let you know how it goes.

November 27, 2008 on 4:26 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments OffOne of my favorite things about having my own blog is getting to share what I want to. My 1 year wedding anniversary was Monday. I can’t believe that I’m no longer considered a “newlywed”. I received an awesome PC and went searching for 404 . I have now been in NY for one full year, it’s been a somewhat rocky beginning in this new city. It took me one year to find employment “of course I took several jobs in the past year” but some of them were temporary or simply paid way too little. I feel good now that I’m finally “set”. At least for the time being…

Sometimes the words just do not wanna come out when I am face with a face to face confrontation. But here on paper, it is easy. And sometimes, some topics do not even bother me to talk about, like I was talking to my friend about 404 the other day and they thought how really well I expressed myself. It is funny sometimes, I wish I could do that all the time.
