If your work is not your favorite thing to do, you’ll have terrible problems with procrastination. You’ll have to force yourself to work, and when you resort to that the results are distinctly inferior.

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know that I have been very busy moving to our new house. This has been a great experience for the most part, don’t get me wrong. Somehow between moving and getting settled down…my worst nightmare became reality. My mood changed when I was confronted with NO Internet access. I called my ISP to check out what was happening! The person on the phone told me with a friendly voice that my notification of address change had not been received due to a error on their part. I asked what to do. Can you believe how upset I was to hear that I had to wait 4 weeks before they could connect me to the Net again. 4 WEEKS! Man are you kidding me! I told her that I need to have access a lot sooner than that. I told her I run a business on the Internet and I need access to look for information about Index because that’s what I do for a living. They way things are going now I’m probably loosing money. I will write more about my bad experience within a few weeks when I have access again from my home. These Internet Cafe’s are expensive you know….See ya….

In the middle of my project I decided it was time for lunch. I ran out to the mall and ended up running into an old friend that I hadn’t seen since High School. It was great seeing him again. We ended up eating together and making plans to get together again.

Then, after a month or so, you begin to notice that it does not have the same taste, that same excitement it once had, so you kind of phase it out of the diet. Then, you come back and all of a sudden to taste that food again and it tastes just as good as the first time. And then there is the work I am doing to look up more about 404 which is diminishing my appetite right now as we speak. Okay, I gotta get off this tube.

I have been trying to set up a computer here at home to have a network server, on a Windows machine. Now, I have done this before using Linux/Cpanel which is pretty straight forward to me, but Windows???? I ended up finally taking a break at about 4am and I do not know why or how, but I ended up on this website about 404 . Just shows you how tired I am. LOL!!!

This newest class is supposed to be a month of mentoring but it’s more like dictating from the lecturer. A friendly mentor you can ask questions of, he is not. Guess I will just try to get along as best I can to figure out what I can. I just love teachers who tell you, Go do this about 404 . What they forget is to tell you how to do it. Just fine for them as they have the experience. But this lecturer doesn’t even bother to tell you all the steps and where to look for the answers much less how to do it. That’s OK. I’ll figure it out and maybe even learn a thing or six in the process. At least I’m ahead with some interesting software.
