First he announces himself with a waaah. Not a meow but a waaah. Kind of asking me what I’m doing. I look up and ask him whats up while he keeps walking past and jumps up on one of the tables. Thereupon he starts rummaging through all my papers and knocking them to the floor. Not satisfied he jumps over to the desk where I am working and plops down right next to where I’m working with his paws on the keyboard. I can see I’m not going to get any more work done this morning.

Could all those Wal-Mart haters be buying less of their stuff and cause people going to small stores to buy their stuff. Who knows. But one thing is for sure, something is making an impact out there. That’s what I feel at least. And then I just wandered off and went to go find out more about my other interest… honey baked ham shops.

The boss has a fit if anyone is one minute late so I was sweating bullets and about to have an anxiety attack. I tried to calm myself down and ended up just staring at a billboard about honey baked ham company az for what seemed like the longest time. There was a car in the right hand lane with it’s flashers on and no one in it. You’d think they would have got a couple guys to just push it onto the shoulder of the road instead of just leaving it there blocking traffic.

May 31, 2008 on 7:20 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments OffTime for a little R&R… My wife and I are taking the girls to St. George Island for several days this coming weekend. I’m looking forward to relaxing on the beach some with an ice cold beer and playing in the sand and surf with my daughters. I say playing in the “surf”, because I don’t imagine I’ll be getting in much more than ankle deep- still a little too chilly for anything more. I haven’t checked with the hotel yet, but I sincerely hope they have wireless Internet access or hell, just wired for that matter would be great. It’s nice to get out from in front of the computer for a few days, but I’ll need to visit hilton head golf vacations hilton h at least once or twice during our vacation to stay on top of things. ‘ Luckily, other people do actually sell stuff online, or I’d never be able to buy hilton head golf vacations hilton h - and then where would I be?

And for those few solemn, focused and unearthly moments, you could not hear that damn dog barking in the background until you somehow get detached from the computer. But when I got back on my computer, I have no clue how I ended back searching for 301 when my original subject was completely different than that. Hmmmm, it must be that I was drawn to this specific site. Funny how things works.

I was researching 301 at work today and Ray’s mom show up, and she told me she thought the photos I took of Ray were great. That’s a good boost to the old ego. Even after years of doing photography, I am still not a very good judge of my own work. It’s silly, as I’ve sold several of my photos, so I guess they are pretty good. I just never believe it.

I don’t have a clear plan to approach each day and I think it is important that I make a plan immediately. Every day it’s the same thing. I start off the day clearly intending to do one thing and I always seem to end up searching for something like north georgia golf vacations which clearly has nothing to do with what I planned on doing. Talk about being a disorganized person. So today is rest day and I’m gonna gather up my thoughts and make a concise plan.

Normally I wait until it is almost too late to get things done, and this time I decided enough is enough and I don’t want to think about 301 any longer than I have to. Now that it is done, I can get on to other things without the constant nagging in the back of my mind. Like a load is taken off my shoulders. I am the greatest procrastinator in the world, but this feels great!
