My mom called yesterday to remind me that my brothers wife and my nephew are in town until Saturday. Haven’t seen them since Christmas and will be nice to visit with them again. My nephew Sam is 8 years old now and mom mentioned how fast he is growing. “Sprouting up like a weed!” she said. We both figured he would eventually be taller than my brother. I had been surfing the web and came across 301 when she called. Was nice to chat with her and plan on Thursday to go see them before they take off to go home.

Last night my friend and I went to Hard Rock Cafe. I hadn’t been there in sometime. It was great to catch up, during the conversation we spoke about 301 and it’s been lingering around in my head today.

Got home from another uneventful and boring day at work. Traffic was swelling and the noxious fumes from the tail pipes is really getting to me. I can even smell it through the vents in the interior of my car. It just makes me wanna find a job that is closer to home, more convenient and less of a commute. But then again, you may not be able to have every wish you want in life, right? But when I come home, this computer, this blog, this very digital existences where I come alive and can find out more about anything I want, whether it is about skydiving, traveling, mountain cliff diving, 301, or anything else for that matter, I just come alive when I get home. Today I think I will go find out more stuff about this other topic that I may even take on as a study. Yeah.

Well, it was just one of those average weekends where time just sort of passed by and things just sort of got done in a, well, hum drum sort of manner. But hey, not every weekend can be exciting. It is truly funny how they can talk about just anything and make it funny. I was listening to an interesting audio book today while driving to work. It was in reference to the power of this moment, not the past or future but now. How many of us are stuck in our past lifes memories are striving for a future that we hope will give us what we do not have now. Isn’t there a saying that you need to live each day as if it is your last? When you observe your mind and only watch what thoughts come into existence you will see what I mean.
